The Front Room Sessions
at The Tubman Museum

For generations, Black men have played vital roles in supporting families and strengthening communities. Their leadership and presence have made a lasting impact, especially in historic neighborhoods like Pleasant Hill (established 1879).

Today, we are creating space to listen, learn, and reconnect through open dialogue and artistic expression.

We invite all voices—especially our men—to join the conversation.

Together, we can explore ways to heal, grow, and continue building resilient communities.
