Freedom Seekers

“Freedom Seekers: The Black Seminole Story” is a compelling short documentary drawn from the forthcoming full-length feature, Freedom Seekers: Black Seminole of the Past and Present. Both works illuminate the powerful legacy of the Black Seminoles-architects of the first underground railroad and leaders of the largest, most successful slave rebellion in U.S. history. Through historical insight and contemporary reflection, this Editor’s Cut traces their journey from resistance to resilience, offering a rare glimpse into their enduring fight for freedom and identity.
