Two Exciting Dance Events
Black Music MonthThis June, the Tubman will host two exciting dance events.
The first event will be held on “First Friday”, June 6, 2025, from 5-8 PM in the Atrium, with Soopa Dave (AKA Speaker Baux) as the disc jockey and Salad Queen providing food. Tickets are $10 per person, with a cash bar available courtesy of Cheers!
The second dance party, celebrating Juneteenth and Black Music Month, will take place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, featuring Soopa Dave (AKA Speaker Baux). The Tubman will celebrate the enduring legacy of Black musicians on American music, culture, and history, and recognize the recipients of the Tubman Legacy and Music Award.
Further information regarding food trucks, cost, and award winners will be announced soon.
