Live Painting in Color: Rock the Rail

Rhonda “Sunshine” Miller is a self-taught artist whose vibrant, emotionally charged work celebrates strength, healing, and authenticity. A breast cancer survivor and mental health advocate, Rhonda transforms pain and resilience into expressive art that speaks directly to the heart.

At Fashion in Colors: Rock the Rail—the museum’s upcoming fundraiser and fashion showcase on November 9, 2025—Rhonda will create a live painting inspired by the energy of the evening. This unique artwork will be auctioned after the show to support museum programs and community outreach.

Through her journey, Rhonda discovered that art doesn’t need to be perfect—it needs to be real. Each brushstroke reflects her healing process and her courage to express what words once could not. Her mission is to use art as a voice for healing, hope, and self-acceptance, inspiring others to embrace their truth and find beauty in their own stories.
