Located in south Macon, Lynmore Estates was once a thriving post-WWII working-class neighborhood. This neighborhood has been left behind by recent development and expansion on Macon's north side. Macon area Habitat for Humanity has been working to revitalize this area through a pledge to build 20 homes in 2005-2010, plus another 26 homes after that.
