The Harriet Tubman African American Museum located in Macon, Georgia

Classes & Camps

The Tubman Museum hosts a variety of classes and camps for people of all ages and backgrounds, including classes held at the Museum and the Outreach Program, where the museum comes to you. After-school classes, also known as Tubman Children in the Arts, are also available throughout the year.

The Heritage Camps kick off Mid-June and they serve 120 children each summer. The John Oliver Killens Workshop is a combination of selected children from L.H. Williams Elementary, Macon State College's School of Education and the Tubman Museum. This workshop focuses on the language arts and math skills.
